Indications for use
VoskoPran - the means intended for care of wounds. It protects against mechanical effects (friction, shock, pressure), pollution, chemical irritation, secondary infection, drying of physiological fluids (electrolytes), and also keeps the temperature optimal for healing. In addition, the dressing cleans the wound and creates a microclimate that contributes to the speedy regeneration of the wound.
In the cleaning phase, VoskoPran absorbs excess exudate, including with harmful microorganisms (passes it into the secondary bandage) due to the mesh basis with special weaving of cells, and accelerates the physiological mechanisms of purification. Due to its properties at the initial (inflammatory) stage of the wound process, the material does not stick to the wound, while the ointment contained in it penetrates into its deep layers.
In the phase of granulation, the agent stimulates angiogenesis (the process of formation of new blood vessels in the tissues) and contributes to filling the defect with collagen fibers. As soon as the cleansing process ends, due to the wax, the dressing adheres to the skin surface, is perceived as a biological scab and helps to form epithelium.
In the epithelialization phase, Voskopran improves cellular respiration and accelerates cell migration. Gradually, with the healing process, the dressing naturally leaves the wound, forming a flat surface in its place.
More specific pharmacological properties of the drug are determined by the type of drug applied to the dressing.
Without an ointment coating, VoskoPran can be used as an independent agent for the treatment of clean wounds and injuries in the granulation stage, such as burns, frostbite and trophic ulcers. In addition, this material can be used in combination with the ointment prescribed by the doctor on other wounds.
The dressing with ointment Levomekol simultaneously provides anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial (anti-infection) effects. It is used to treat trophic ulcers, frostbites, diaper rash, bedsores, infected and purulent wounds, chemical, thermal and radiation burns of grade I-III and purulent-inflammatory skin diseases.
The bandage with oxydine ointment 5% provides resistant antimicrobial protection and contributes to the epithelization of wounds. This type of VoskoPran, according to the instructions, is intended for the treatment of superficial and deep infected and purulent wounds, as well as nonhealing injuries such as pustular skin diseases, various types of I-III degree burns, bedsores and trophic ulcers.
The bandage with 10% methyluracil ointment has a wound healing and anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates regeneration processes. The use of VoskoPran of this species is indicated for the speedy healing of granulating, weakening and clean wounds, including boils, photodermatosis, dermatitis, burns and postoperative sutures.
Povidon-Iodine ointment dressing is intended for the treatment of fungal and bacterial infections of the skin, bedsores, I-III burns, infectious dermatitis, trophic ulcers, wounds and abrasions, as well as for the prevention of infection of wounds.
The use of VoskoPran, according to the instructions, is contraindicated only in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the dressing or beekeeping products.
The decision on the expediency of using the dressing during pregnancy and lactation should only be made by the attending physician.
Dosing and Administration
The method of application of VoskoPrana is universal for all species. It is necessary to open the packaging along the cutting line and remove the bandage. If necessary, use scissors to cut a fragment of a certain size. Remove one of the protective layers. Apply the bandage so that it is 0.5 cm protruding beyond the edges of the wound. After 1-2 minutes, remove the second protective layer. Top with a sterile gauze cloth and fix with a bandage.
According to the instructions for the drug, VoskoPran has no side effects. Presumably, in the presence of hypersensitivity or intolerance to any component of the dressing material, allergic reactions may develop.
Structural analogues of Voskopran does not exist.
