Vidisik is a drug used to treat diseases of the sense organs.
Release form and composition
Vidisik is produced in the form of a transparent viscous colorless gel (0.2%), in tubes of 10 g each. One gram of the product contains 2 mg of carbomer and the following excipients:
- Sodium hydroxide;
- Water for injection;
Indications for use
Vidisik is used in cases of insufficient production of tear fluid and in dry eye syndrome.
The use of Vidisika is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components that are part of the drug.
With caution, the drug is prescribed during pregnancy and during the period of breastfeeding.
Dosing and Administration
The drug is instilled into the lower conjunctival sac (each eye), one drop three to five times a day.
The instructions for Widisik indicated that the drug may cause allergic reactions, irritation and burning sensation in the eyes, as well as passing blurred vision.
Cases of overdose of the drug to date has not been registered.
