Release form and composition
Vestib is released in the form of white flat, round, with beveled edges of the tablets, on one side of which there is the marking "B8", in blisters of 10 pieces.
Each tablet contains 8 mg of betahistine dihydrochloride and excipients such as:
- 2 mg of povidone K90;
- 2.5 mg of colloidal silicon dioxide;
- 4.5 mg stearic acid;
- 6 mg of crospovidone;
- 33 mg microcrystalline cellulose;
- 70 mg of lactose monohydrate.
Also they produce round Vestibo tablets with bevelled edges, on one side of which there is an “B16” marking, in blisters of 10 pcs.
One tablet contains 16 mg of betahistine dihydrochloride and excipients - 66 mg of microcrystalline cellulose, 4 mg of povidone K90, 5 mg of colloidal silicon dioxide, 140 mg of lactose monohydrate, 9 mg of stearic acid and 12 mg of crospovidone.
Another form of release Vestibo are biconvex, with a risk on one side of the tablet, 10 pieces each. in blisters.
Each tablet contains 24 mg of betahistine dihydrochloride and excipients - 7.5 mg of colloidal silicon dioxide, 6 mg of povidone K90, 18 mg of crospovidone, 210 mg of lactose monohydrate, 99 mg of microcrystalline cellulose and 13.5 mg of stearic acid.
Indications for use
Vestibo is used in cases of vestibular neuritis, Meniere's disease, labyrinthitis, dropsy of the labyrinth of the inner ear, benign positional dizziness, atherosclerosis of cerebral vessels, post-traumatic encephalopathy and vertebrobasilar insufficiency.
Also, the drug is used to treat vestibular and labyrinth disorders.
Contraindications
Application Vesibo contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy, with bronchial asthma, pheochromocytoma, gastric ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, as well as in cases of hypersensitivity to the components that make up the drug.
With caution, the drug is prescribed to children in the second and third trimester of pregnancy, as well as in cases of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer in history.
Dosing and Administration
The drug is taken orally during a meal, washed down with a small amount of water. Dosage means 1-2 tablets (8 mg) 2-4 times a day. The duration of Vestibo treatment is determined by the doctor individually and depends on the body's response to treatment.
