Indications for use

- Warts, including on the feet and palms;

- Preschool age (up to 7 years);
- Hypersensitivity to the active or auxiliary components of the drug;

Dosing and Administration
During the application of Verrukacid patients should be monitored to ensure that the medicine does not fall on the unaffected areas of the body and mucous membranes.
As a rule, the applicator is supplied with the bottle of Verrucacid, with which the drug is applied to the body. It is allowed to carry out drawing a preparation a wooden stick. When applying it is recommended to ensure that the drug is exactly on the lesion.
In the treatment of papillomas and thread-like warts, a single application of Verrucacide is sufficient. For large items, it is enough to apply the drug four times. Repeated application is carried out immediately after drying the liquid from the previous application.
In the treatment of warts located on the hands and feet, to eliminate elements with hyperkeratosis, it is recommended to apply an ointment containing keratolytic components on the affected areas, and to make a compress using a film or special paper. After applying the ointment after a while, the affected surface should be steamed in water with sodium bicarbonate and soap for a quarter of an hour and mechanically eliminated areas with hyperkeratosis.
After the skin dries, it should be applied Verrukacid several times in a row (each time waiting for the previous layer to dry). To remove warts with hyperkeratosis, it takes up to 10 application of the drug at intervals of several minutes. To remove dry corns and keratomas, a fourfold application of Verrucacide at intervals of several minutes is sufficient.
In order to avoid damage to healthy skin, located near the lesion, it should be smeared with zinc paste.
In the presence of anogenital warts, it is recommended to consult a specialist. To remove them, the drug is applied to the affected area, then, after drying, the medicine is applied again. In total, no more than five applications are required to remove anogenital warts.
The use of Verrucacid may cause the development of allergic reactions and swelling at the site of application.
You should avoid getting the medicine on healthy areas of the body, as this is fraught with the development of a burn. In case of contact, treat the skin with alcohol 10-40% in order to clear the skin of phenol and avoid its cauterizing effect on the skin. Further treatment of the burn is carried out with the help of healing agents.
When applying Verrukatsid on the eye area may develop hyperemia and swelling.
You should avoid applying medication to mucous membranes. In case of contact, flush eyes with plenty of water and contact an ophthalmologist.
Plots treated with the drug, it is forbidden to bandage, glue with a plaster or lubricate with any ointments and remove the crust. It is not recommended to apply the drug before the previous layer of the drug dries.
Contact of the synthetic fabric with the skin area treated with the preparation should be avoided.
It is not recommended to apply Verrukacid on the formations located in the inguinal folds, interdigital spaces, anogenital area, as these areas are prone to heavy sweating, as a result of which a burn of the unaffected skin of the touching surface may develop.
The first day after treatment with the preparation, it is forbidden to wash the affected skin area with water and lubricate with any ointments. When used correctly, Verrukacid does not leave scars.
It is necessary to observe special care and accuracy at treatment by a preparation of children.
In pregnancy, drug treatment is possible only in cases where the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risks to the fetus.
When using the drug during breastfeeding, it is forbidden to apply it to the formations located on the hands and mammary glands.
