Vazoke is a veno-tonic drug.
Release form and composition
Vazoket tablets are made, each containing 600 mg of diosmin. Auxiliary substances are: magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, povidone.
In blister packs of 15 tablets.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Vazoke use when:
- Varicose veins of the lower extremities;
- Acute hemorrhoids or exacerbations of chronic;
- Chronic lympho-venous insufficiency in the initial and advanced stages, accompanied by symptoms such as heaviness in the legs, cramps, swelling, pain;
- Microcirculation disorders.
According to the instructions, Vazoke is not recommended for use in case of hypersensitivity to the active or additional components, as well as under the age of 18 years.
Dosing and Administration
Vazoket is indicated for internal use.
With varicose veins, as well as chronic lympho-venous insufficiency in the initial stage, accompanied by heaviness in the legs, 1 tablet of Vazoketa per day is prescribed. Take the medicine in the morning before a meal. The duration of therapy is 2 months.
In severe forms of lympho-venous insufficiency, accompanied by edema, convulsions and pain, treatment with Vazoketa continues for 3-4 months in the same dosage. If trophic changes and ulcers are observed, therapy for a duration of 6 months or more. After 2-3 months, the treatment can be repeated.
With exacerbation of hemorrhoids, Vazoket is prescribed at a dose of 2-3 tablets per day during meals for 1 week, then the dosage is reduced to 1 tablet per day for 1-2 months.
In the 2 and 3 trimesters of pregnancy for the treatment of chronic lympho-venous insufficiency, Vazoke is prescribed 1 tablet per day. A few weeks before delivery, the medication should be discontinued.
In the case of missing one or more doses, treatment is continued at the usual dosage.
Patients use Vazoket well, the drug rarely causes side effects. The most common side effects are headache and dyspepsia.
In the treatment of hemorrhoids, it is advisable to combine Vazoke with other drugs. If the therapeutic effect does not occur, the patient should undergo additional research and adjust the therapy being conducted.
There is evidence of the effectiveness of Vazoketa in the treatment of placental insufficiency, as well as for the prevention of bleeding that occur during the period of phlebectomy and the use of intrauterine devices.
The use of Vazoketa allowed during pregnancy. Any data on the occurrence of side effects in this period is missing. When conducting clinical studies of teratogenic effects of Vazoketa on the fetus was not identified.
During breastfeeding, the use of the drug is not recommended, as there are no data on the penetration of the active substance into breast milk.

Terms and conditions of storage
According to the instructions, Vazoke should be stored in a dry, dark, protected from children place. Shelf life of the drug is 3 years.
