Release form and composition
Vaginorm tablets released vaginal white, oval. 1 tablet contains 250 mg of ascorbic acid. Additional substances of the drug: magnesium stearate, polymethylsiloxane, lactose monohydrate, hypromellose. Indications for use
According to the instructions, Vaginorm is shown when:
- Violation of the vaginal microflora;
- Kolpitah recurrent or chronic nature (bacterial, non-specific).
According to the instructions, Vaginorm vaginal tablets are not recommended for use with candidal vulvovaginitis and hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Dosing and Administration
Vaginorm is intended for intravaginal use. The tablets are inserted deep into the vagina. It is advisable to do this in the evening, before bedtime, being in a horizontal position.
The duration of drug treatment does not exceed one week. If necessary, prolongation of treatment with Vaginorm is possible for a longer period. Repeated treatment is possible after consultation with your doctor.
The use of Vaginorm is mainly well tolerated by patients, side effects are rare.
The most frequent side effects of the drug are burning and itching in the vagina, which are mainly due to an asymptomatic fungal infection. A similar infection is observed in approximately 10% of women and causes a violation of the vaginal microflora with a high level of specific anaerobic bacteria.

Vaginorm analogue, which has a similar pharmacological effect, is the drug Acilact, which is used in diseases of the genitourinary system. Its active ingredient is not ascorbic acid, but acidophilic bacteria.
