Naftaderm - a drug for external use, providing anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and disinfecting effect, which improves tissue regeneration.
Release form and composition
It is produced in the form of brown liniment, with a slight specific odor (in tubes of 10, 15, 20 and 35 g, in a carton pack of 1 tube).
Active ingredient - refined naphthalan oil: in 10 g ointment - 1 g.
Additional components: emulsion wax, purified water, ethanol 95%.
Indications for use
- Pink lichen;
- Poorly healing ulcers;
- Hemorrhagic syndrome;
- Renal failure;
- Severe anemia;
- Increased sensitivity to components.
Dosing and Administration
Naftaderm should be applied 2 times a day with a thin layer on the affected skin. Do not rub!
The duration of treatment is determined individually and is 3-4 weeks.
Basically, the drug is well tolerated, in rare cases folliculitis occurs, dry skin is noted. In the latter case, it is recommended to take a 2-3-day break in treatment or use an additional emollient cream.
If necessary, use of the drug for the treatment of children and pregnant women should consult with your doctor.
Naftalan oil increases skin permeability to other medicines.
