Mlecoin is a lactotropic homeopathic remedy used to reduce the functions of the mammary glands in nursing mothers.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - granules: spherical shape, uniform, white, no odor (10 g each in three-layer bags of composite material, in a cardboard bundle 1 bag).
Active substances Mlekoina:
- Pulsatilla pratensis, Pulsatilla (Pulsatilla pratensis, Pulsatilla) C200;
- Urtica urens (Urtika Urens) C200;
- Vitex agnus сastus, Agnus-castus (Vitex agnus-casus, Agnus-casus) C50.
Auxiliary component - sugar granules (grains).
Indications for use
- Insufficient production of breast milk in lactating women;
- Extension of the period of natural feeding.
Also, the doctor may recommend a drug for the prevention of mastitis.
The only contraindication to the use of Mlecoin is individual hypersensitivity to its components.
Dosing and Administration
Granules should be taken orally, holding in the mouth until completely dissolved, at least 15 minutes before meals.
With a shortage or absence of milk, 5 granules are usually prescribed 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening). It is recommended to apply Mlekoin throughout the entire period of breastfeeding.
It is recommended to start taking the drug in the first 1-1.5 weeks after delivery.
To date, cases of incompatibility Mlekoina with other drugs have not been identified.

Store at a temperature up to 25 ºС in a dark place inaccessible to children.
