Fleming Ointment is a homeopathic remedy intended for the treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract, as well as dermatological and proctological diseases.
Release form and composition
The dosage form of the drug is an ointment for external use: homogeneous, white or yellowish in color, has a characteristic menthol odor (15 and 25 g each in plastic bottles and jars, in a cardboard box 1 bottle or 1 bank).
Active ingredients ointment:
- Zinci oxydum (Zinc Oksid) - 9.4 g;
- Calendula officinalis D1 (Calendula officinalis) - 1.76 g;
- Aesculus hippocastanum D1 (Esculius hippocastunum) - 1.76 g;
- Hamamelis virginiana D1 (Hamamelis of Virginia) - 1.76 g;
- Mentholum (menthol) - 0.64 g.
Auxiliary component - petrolatum.
Indications for use
- Vasomotor rhinitis;
- Allergic dermatitis;
- Uncomplicated forms of external hemorrhoids.
The use of Fleming ointment is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to its components.
Dosing and Administration
When vasomotor rhinitis should be smeared with ointment mucous membranes of the nose or put turunda with the drug in the nose for 5-7 minutes, 2-3 times a day. The duration of therapy is 7-10 days.
For allergic dermatitis, Fleming's ointment should be applied to the painful areas of the skin 2 times a day. Treatment can last from 10 to 14 days.
When hemorrhoids ointment should be applied with a cotton swab from 1 to 3 times per day. The duration of treatment is 5-7 days. If necessary, the doctor may prescribe a second course.
In most cases, Fleming ointment is well tolerated, in rare cases, allergic reactions are possible.
