Lysoform - a drug with a deodorizing and disinfecting action.
Release form and composition
Lysoform produced in the form of a formaldehyde soap solution: a clear liquid with a noticeable smell of formaldehyde yellowish-brown color (in bottles).
The composition of the drug includes active substances:
- Formaldehyde - 40 parts;
- Potassium soap - 40 parts;
- Ethyl alcohol –20 parts.
Indications for use
Lysoform used in gynecological practice for douching.
Also, the drug can be used for disinfecting hands and premises.
- Inflammatory skin diseases;
- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
In order to avoid irritation, Lysoform is not recommended to be applied on the face.
Dosing and Administration
For douching in gynecological practice use 1-4% aqueous solutions of Lysoform.
For disinfection of premises and hands, use 1-3% aqueous solutions of the drug.
When using Lysoform irritation may occur at the site of its application.
Before starting Lysoform, as well as in cases of uncharacteristic symptoms, you should consult a doctor.
