Lipin is a natural phosphatidine choline, which affects the general metabolism and the digestive system, has an antihypoxic effect, normalizes tissue respiration, improves microcirculation and blood rheology, supports the activity of antioxidant systems, inhibits fat peroxidation in tissues and blood plasma, has a membrane-protective effect, performs the function immunomodulator and detoxifying agent of non-specific type.
Release form and composition
Lipin dosage form - lyophilisate for the preparation of suspensions for intravenous, oral, rectal and inhalation use (in bottles №1 or bottles of 100, 250 or 500 mg, in a cardboard box 1 or 3 bottles complete with an inhaler).
The active ingredient of the drug is lecithin-standard. Its content in 1 bottle / bottle in terms of lecithin is 100, 250 or 500 mg.
The auxiliary component is lactose monohydrate.
Indications for use
- In pulmonology: acute and chronic insufficiency of various origins in adults and children; respiratory disorders in newborns, due to postponed asphyxia during labor or hypoxia in the perinatal period;
- In cardiology: myocardial infarction; unstable angina;
- Gastroenterology: acute and chronic hepatitis, ulcerative colitis, non-calculous cholecystitis, cirrhosis of the liver;
- In obstetrics: late preeclampsia, intrauterine hypoxia of the fetus;
- In nephrology: acute and chronic pyelonephritis and glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, renal failure, nephropathy due to diabetic tissue degeneration.
A strict contraindication to the use of Lipin is hypersensitivity.
It is not recommended to prescribe the drug to patients with lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.
Dosing and Administration
An emulsion is prepared from Lipin's lyophilisate, which can be administered intravenously, administered rectally, orally or by inhalation.
The rule of preparation of the active liposomal emulsion is to hold the vial with the lyophilized powder for about 30 minutes at room temperature, then add the physiological saline solution to it at the rate of 10 ml per 100 mg of the lyophilisate. Then, thoroughly for 2-3 minutes, shake the vial until a homogeneous emulsion is formed (completely dissolving the powder).
In the case of rectal or oral administration of Lipin, the lyophilisate can be diluted with distilled or cooled boiled water.
If necessary, the use of the drug for inhalation in pulmonology, the emulsion is prepared as follows. The vial is kept at room temperature for 30 minutes, then the lyophilisate is diluted with saline at the rate of 1 ml per 50 mg of the lyophilisate. Then thoroughly shake the vial until a homogeneous emulsion is formed.
In severe cases, Liping is administered intravenously slowly. The dose is 10-15 mg / kg body weight of the patient. Frequency of use - 1-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is from 3 to 10 days depending on the type and severity of the pathology.
The dose of the drug for 1 inhalation is 10-15 mg / kg. The multiplicity of the procedure - 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is from 5 to 10 days. For inhalation of Lipin used inhalers aerosol or ultrasonic type. A nebulizer type inhaler is highly recommended. It is forbidden to use vapor-aerosol devices.
If necessary, the inhaler can be attached to the breathing circuit of the ventilator.
A newborn with signs of respiratory distress is prescribed in the form of inhalations of 25-100 mg / kg 3-4 times a day. The average duration of inhalation is 4 minutes. The course of treatment is up to 5 days. If necessary, treatment is extended to 10-12 days.
When used in gastroenterology, Lipin is prescribed orally 1000 mg 2 times a day for 21 days. In severe cases, the drug is diluted in 5% glucose solution and injected intravenously 1000 mg per day for 10 days. If necessary, in the course of treatment, the method of administering the drug is changed.
In the treatment of ulcerative colitis, Lipin can be used in the form of microcephalus - 1000 mg 2 times a day for 10 days, then 500 mg 2 times a day for another 10 days.
In the treatment of nephrological diseases, the drug is prescribed in a daily dose of 10-20 mg / kg as part of complex therapy with antibiotics. The emulsion is administered intravenously. The duration of treatment is up to 4 days.
When pyelonephritis, chronic glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy in the stage of chronic renal failure, Lipin is administered intravenously in a dose of 10-20 mg 1 time per day for 2 weeks simultaneously with the baseline therapy.
In therapeutic doses, Lipin is usually well tolerated. Sometimes there is rapid heartbeat, headaches and allergic reactions.
In some cases, after intravenous administration of the drug are possible:
- General reactions: fever, decrease in blood pressure, general weakness, tremor of limbs, backache in the thoracic region;
- Local reactions: pain along the vein into which the suspension was injected.
When these side effects appear, Lipin is canceled and symptomatic therapy is prescribed.
With individual intolerance to the components of the drug there is a chance of developing allergic reactions in the form of pruritus, urticaria, nausea. In this case, the drug is canceled and the patient is prescribed antihistamines, ascorbic acid and calcium chloride.
Lipin can be used to treat children, including newborns, as well as pregnant and lactating women.
No adverse effect of the drug on the reaction rate and ability to concentrate was noted.
Lipin can be used in combination therapy with antibiotics, steroids, as well as vitamin, cytostatic and choleretic agents.
