Release form and composition
Lespenephril is released in the form of a solution for oral administration (in dark glass bottles of 120 ml, 1 bottle in a carton box).
The composition of 100 ml of solution includes active and auxiliary substances:
- Anise essence - 0.25 ml;
- Lespedesa capitate tincture - 15 ml;
- Ethyl alcohol - 62 ml;
- Water - up to 100 ml.
Indications for use
Lespenephril is prescribed in the complex treatment of compensated and latent stages of chronic renal failure.
The use of Lespenephril is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the drug components.
Nursing and pregnant women taking the drug is not recommended because of its ethyl alcohol.
Dosing and Administration
Lespenephril should be ingested before meals. Before taking the drug must be diluted in a small amount of water.
A single dose - 1-2 teaspoons, the frequency of reception - 2-3 times a day.
The duration of the therapeutic course is 3-4 weeks.
During therapy, allergic reactions may develop, in rare cases - headache, dizziness, tachycardia, weakness.
Lespenephril should be taken with caution to drivers of vehicles, as well as people whose profession is associated with the need for increased concentration.
Because of alcohol, which is part of Lespenephril, it is not prescribed to patients taking medications that depress the central nervous system, oral hypoglycemic agents, insulin, as well as drugs that, when used simultaneously with alcohol, can lead to the development of antabus-like reactions.
