Meadowsweet - a plant used as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, anthelmintic and diaphoretic.
Meadowsweet, or Tavolga, belongs to the genus of perennial grasses of the Pink family. It has 10-13 species. For therapeutic purposes, the most commonly used meadowsweet is six-leaved, Kamchatka and palm-shaped.

Groundweed grass is used in the form of normalizing sleep and relieving fatigue tea. Grass powder is used externally to heal wounds and burns, in the treatment of eczema and diaper rash.
Labaznika flowers are used mainly as a diaphoretic, diuretic, anthelmintic and astringent for bleeding, diarrhea, chest pains, intestines and stomach. They are used in the treatment of heart disease, to relieve headaches and eliminate hysterical convulsions. In the form of decoction, they are used topically and externally (such as lotions or rinsing) in the treatment of such inflammatory diseases of the skin and mucous membranes such as eczema, stomatitis, periodontal disease, gingivitis, diffuse neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis.
The plant is widely used in folk medicine. Infusion of flowers and herbs are used as a diaphoretic, anthelmintic and diuretic. More saturated infusion is used as an anti-toxic agent, for example, in alcohol poisoning.

Meadowsweet is also used for herpes, dysentery, psoriasis, hemorrhoids, infertility, gout, anemia, hepatitis, epilepsy, thrombophlebitis, worms, shingles, shortness of breath, insomnia, hypertension, heart swelling.

Homemade drugs from the meadow
2 teaspoons of the dried roots of the plant pour 300 ml of boiling water and infuse for 30 minutes in a boiling water bath. After cooling, the infusion should be filtered. Take 1/4 cup 3 times a day before meals as a hemostatic, anticancer, sedative and anticonvulsant.
When whites from the roots and flowers of the plant prepare the broth, for which about 20 g of raw materials pour 1 liter of boiling water and infuse for 30 minutes in a water bath in a sealed container. Infusion is used for douching. Frequency of use - 2-3 times a day. Prepared in the same way, an infusion of 2 tablespoons of raw materials and 250 ml of boiling water is used externally in the form of anti-inflammatory and analgesic compresses for various gynecological diseases.
For diarrhea, an infusion of rhizome roots of meadowsweet is used. To prepare it, 1 tablespoon of raw materials should be poured over 200 ml of boiling water and for 10 minutes insisted on a boiling bath, then leave it to infuse for another 2 hours. Take the drug before meals 4 times a day and 1 tablespoon.
In the treatment of gastric diseases, tincture is prepared from 50 g of fresh meadow flowers, 1 liter of vodka and 20 g of sugar. The tool should be infused for 12-14 days in a dark place. Take the tincture up to 3 times a day, 30 drops. Externally, it can be used for burns, trophic ulcers, purulent wounds, arthritis, arthrosis, rheumatism, neuralgia and neuritis of the trigeminal and facial nerves.
As a diuretic for jade, as well as for diseases of the bladder and stomach pain, take tea from meadowsweet flowers (1 teaspoon of raw materials per 200 ml of boiling water). Also, tea helps to strengthen the immune system.
