Corvalent - a drug that has a vasodilating and sedative effect, with sea and air sickness - an antiemetic.
Release form and composition
Dosage form Corvormenta - capsules 100 mg, 10 or 30 pcs. packaged.
The active ingredient of the drug is menthol solution 25%.
The solvent is isovaleric acid methyl ester.
Indications for use
- Mild strokes;
- Motion sickness syndrome
The use of the drug is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Age up to 6 years;
- Hypersensitivity to the components.
Dosing and Administration
Corvalment is intended for sublingual use. The effect after taking develops in 1-3 minutes and lasts for 15-30 minutes. In order to accelerate the action, the capsule can be crushed with teeth.
For seizures, it is recommended to take 1 capsule.
The maximum daily dose is 6 capsules.
Possible undesirable reactions caused by taking Corvalment: mild nausea, lacrimation and dizziness.
There are no data on contraindications to the use of the drug during pregnancy.
In severe attacks of angina pectoris, Corvalent is ineffective.
Corvalent enhances the effect of sedatives, and also improves the tolerability of nitroglycerin, prevents or reduces the headaches caused by them.
