Climactoplan is a homeopathic drug used for the symptomatic treatment of menopausal syndrome. It has an estrogen-like and sedative effect, normalizes mood and sleep.
Release form and composition
Klimaktoplan is produced in the form of lozenges (flat-cylindrical shape, gray, sometimes interspersed, with a facet, without a special smell), 20 pcs. Each. in blisters, 5 blisters in a carton box.
The active ingredients of the drug (in each tablet 25 mg):
- Cimicifuga D2;
- Sanguinaria D2;
- Sepia D2;
- Lachesis D5;
- Ignatia D3.
Auxiliary components: wheat starch, talc, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
Indications for use
Klimaktoplan used as part of complex treatment of menopausal syndrome. In particular, it helps relieve symptoms such as tension, itching, sweating, rapid heartbeat, flushing, dizziness, and sleep disturbances.
The use of Klimaktoplan is contraindicated in patients who are aware of their hypersensitivity to any of its components.
Dosing and Administration
The drug is taken orally 30 minutes before a meal or 30 minutes after a meal. Tablets should be kept in the mouth until completely dissolved.
The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.
The drug is generally well tolerated, but in some cases, allergic reactions can occur.
At the beginning of use of Klimaktoplan, as well as any homeopathic medicine, temporary deterioration is possible. In this case, it is recommended to stop taking the drug and consult a doctor for consultation. The same must be done in the absence of a therapeutic effect.
