Kartalin - non-hormonal drug for external use with anti-inflammatory, keratolytic and regenerative effects. It is used for chronic dermatosis.
Release form and composition
Kartalin is produced in the form of an ointment, which is a thick, viscous mass from light yellow to dark brown, with a specific smell (in 100 ml tubes and 125 g cans).
The composition of the drug:
- Honey bee
- Lavender and Eucalyptus oils;
- Salicylic acid;
- Vitamins A and D.
- Pharmaceutical camomile;
- The series is tripartite;
Indications for use
- Allergic dermatitis;
- Some types of neurodermatitis.
Kartalin application is contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Dosing and Administration
Kartalin intended for external use. Ointment evenly should be applied to the affected skin without rubbing. The multiplicity of applications - 1-2 times a day.
Improvement is usually observed after 1-2 weeks of therapy, but the course of treatment should last at least 2 months. The cure is indicated by dyschromic stains remaining at the site of the plaques after they disappear, but in order to fix the effect, the drug should be continued for 1 month.
Possible reactions of individual intolerance, most often manifested in the form of allergic dermatitis (oil acne).
Persons who are prone to allergies are advised to take a second- or third-generation antihistamine when using Kartalin (for example, Cetirizine, Ebastine or Loratadine).
Pharmaceutical interaction of Kartalin with other drugs is not described.
