Dental drops - a combined drug for local use in dental practice with an antiseptic, distracting, moderately analgesic, sedative and anti-inflammatory effect.
Release form and composition
The drug is produced in the form of drops for local use, 10 ml and 15 ml in vials or dropper bottles of orange glass, 1 bottle in carton packs.
The composition of 100 ml drops contains the active substances:
- Racemic camphor - 6.4 g;
- Peppermint oil - 3.1 g;
- Valerian tincture - 100 ml.
Indications for use
Dental drops are used for toothache (prior to the provision of dental medical care).
Contraindications to the use of tooth drops are:
- Pregnancy and lactation;
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the droplets;
- Children's age up to 12 years.
Children over the age of 12 years Kalpi prescribed with caution.
Dosing and Administration
The drug is applied topically, for which a cotton swab moistened with 2-3 drops of the drug is applied for 5-10 minutes to the diseased tooth.
When using the drug may develop allergic reactions.
If drops fall on the mucous membrane of the mouth, a burning sensation may develop.
During therapy, care must be taken when performing potentially hazardous types of work that require psychomotor speed and high concentration of attention from patients (working with moving machinery, driving, operator and dispatcher).
