Kameton is a local drug with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action, used in inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
Release form and composition
Kameton produced in the form of:
- Spray for local use, 20 g in bottles with a sprayer, 1 bottle in a carton box;
- Aerosol dosed for topical use, 30 g each and 45 g in glass aerosol cans with a metering valve, 1 can in a carton box.
The composition of 10 g of spray and aerosol includes active substances:
- Camphor - 0.1 g;
- Racemic menthol - 0.1 g;
- Chlorobutanol hemihydrate - 0.1 g;
- Eucalyptus oil - 0.1 g
Indications for use
Kameton is prescribed for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of upper respiratory tract:
Contraindications to the use of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Kameton is not prescribed to children under 5 years of age.
Dosing and Administration
Kameton is used inhalation, spraying into the nasal passages and the oral cavity. To do this, remove the safety cap from the nebulizer and, inserting it into the nasal or mouth cavity, press its base and inhale the nebulized drug for 1-2 seconds.
Frequency of use - 3-4 times a day.
During treatment, allergic reactions may develop in the form of a skin rash.
In the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the nose is more convenient to use a cylinder with a metering valve.
