Gendevit is a multivitamin preparation intended for the treatment of hypovitaminosis.
Release form and composition
They produce Gendevit in the form of round yellow dragees with a sweet taste in polymer cans of 50 pcs.
One dragee contains such active ingredients as:
- 300 mcg of folic acid;
- 250 IU of ergocalciferol;
- 3 mg of calcium pantothenate;
- 3300 IU of retinol;
- 10 mcg cyanocobalamin;
- 5 mg α-tocopherol acetate;
- 1.5 mg riboflavin and thiamine;
- 2 mg of pyridoxine;
- 10 mg nicotinamide;
- 75 mg of ascorbic acid.
Indications for use
Gendevit, according to the instructions, prescribed to women during pregnancy and during the lactation period to improve metabolism and the general condition of the body as a whole.
The drug is prescribed for hypovitaminosis, as well as during the recovery period after illness.
The use of Gendevit contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components that make up the drug.
With caution means prescribed to patients with gastric ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer, as well as severe liver damage.
Dosing and Administration
Multivitamin drug is taken orally after a meal. The dosage of Gendevit in the prevention of hypovitaminosis is 1-2 pills per day. The duration of therapy varies within 20-30 days, with the possible repetition of the course, according to the recommendation of the doctor, after 1-3 months after the previous therapy.
The instructions to Gendevit indicated that the drug can cause allergic reactions.
During the period of application of Gendevitit, the urine can be painted yellow, which is caused by the riboflavin in the composition.
It is important not to exceed the recommended daily dose, and in case of accidental intake of high doses of means, immediately consult a doctor.
Gendevit can not be taken simultaneously with other vitamin preparations.

Terms and conditions of storage
Gendevit according to the instructions should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry, protected from light and out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC.
Pharmacies are dispensed over-the-counter. The shelf life of pills, subject to compliance with all recommendations of the manufacturer, is one year.
