Hexalysis is a drug intended for the treatment of diseases of the respiratory system.
Release form and composition
Hexalysis is produced in the form of flat-cylindrical yellow-orange round chamfer tablets with a faint characteristic odor, in blisters of 10 pieces. The presence of orange or white patches on the tablets.
Each of them contains 5 mg of biclotymol, lysozyme hydrochloride and enoxolone, as well as such excipients as:
- 15 m of magnesium stearate;
- 200 mcg of lemon oil;
- 60 mg of acacia gum;
- 10 mg citric acid monohydrate;
- Up to 1200 mg of sucrose;
- 100 mcg of dye yellow "sunset sun".
Indications for use
Hexalysis, according to the instructions, prescribed to patients with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, larynx and pharynx, the causative agents of which are sensitive to enoxolone, lysozyme and biclotymol microorganisms, namely in the following cases:
- Pharyngolaryngitis;
- Tonsillitis;
- Acute and chronic pharyngitis;
- Conditions after tonsillectomy;
- Glossite.
Contraindications
The use of Hexalysis is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age, as well as in all patients with hypersensitivity to the components that make up the drug.
During pregnancy and during the breastfeeding period, the drug may be used only under strict indications.
Dosing and Administration
Hexaliz tablets dissolve in the mouth until dissolved. Dosage funds for children over 6 years old is 1 tablet every 4 hours. Adults take 1 tablet every 2 hours, but not more than 8 pcs. in a day. The duration of therapy should not exceed 10 days.
Side effects
In accordance with the instructions, Hexalysis can cause superinfection and allergic reactions, and when using the drug for more than 10 days - dysbacteriosis of the oral cavity.
To date, no cases of overdose have been reported.

If during 5 days from the beginning of application of Hexalysis there is no therapeutic effect, or it is mild, it is recommended to consult a doctor for advice.
When prescribing a drug to patients with diabetes, it is important to consider that one tablet of the drug contains 1.054 g of sugar.
It is not recommended to use Hexalysis at the same time with other drugs for topical use in the oral cavity.

Terms and conditions of storage
Hexalysis, according to the instructions, must be stored in a well-ventilated, dry, dark place and out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC.
Pharmacies dispensed over-the-counter medicine. The shelf life of tablets, subject to compliance with all the recommendations of the manufacturer, is two years. After expiration date Hexalysis must be disposed of.
