Brionium is a homeopathic drug used in complex therapy in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the joints and upper respiratory tract.
Release form and composition
Brionium is released in the form of a light yellow or brownish-yellow homogeneous ointment with a low specific odor in polymer cans or vials of 15 and 25 g. One gram of ointment contains 1 g of Alba bryonium and the excipient is Vaseline.
They also produce homeopathic granules of Brionium, in packs or bottles of 5 and 8 g. Each package contains Brion Alba dilutions D3, C100, C3 or C6, as well as excipients - milk sugar or sucrose.
Indications for use
Bryonium is prescribed for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and joints.
The use of Brionium is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
The drug in the form of granules is not prescribed for problems with metabolism, as they contain sucrose or lactose.
Dosing and Administration
The drug in the form of granules taken on an empty stomach inside of 5 pcs. dissolving from three to six times a day. Children younger than two years old are prescribed 1-2 granules of Brionia, 2-4 in age from 2 to 10 years old, and 4-5 in age over 10 years old. 1-6 times a day.
In cases of diseases of the upper respiratory tract, with Bryonia ointment, rubbing the back and chest twice a day, followed by a warm wrap. For diseases of the joints, a means is applied with a thin layer to the painful areas once or twice a day.
