The active substance of Befungin is liquid extract of the fungus, which contains 85 g in 100 ml. This extract is obtained from fungal growths (fungus) formed on the birch trees by the pathogenic parasite inonotus oblique. Its main active ingredients are biologically active substances such as organic acids, humic-like and agaricin-chagic acids, polysaccharides, trace elements, including manganese, copper and cobalt, steroid and other compounds.
Auxiliary components used in the manufacture of medicines are 95% ethanol, cobalt chloride hexahydrate, purified water.
Befungin solution is realized in bottles of 100 ml.
Indications for use
Due to the tonic effect on the central nervous system and immunomodulating properties, the active substance Befungin increases the body's resistance to hypoxia and the effects of other adverse factors.
The presence of trace elements provides a stimulating effect of the drug on blood, especially leukopoiesis.
Also Befungin has a gastroprotective effect, normalizes the function of the digestive tract.
In addition, birch fungus has antitumor activity, because it increases the functional activity of the immune system, especially the function of natural killer cells.

- chronic gastritis with reduced secretory function;
- anacid gastritis;

As enhancing the body's defenses and fortifying drug, Befungin is recommended for use during periods after severe diseases and surgeries.

Befungin is a drug approved for dispensing from pharmacies as a non-prescription drug. According to the recommendations of the manufacturer, it should be stored in a dry, but protected from the sunlight place. The optimum temperature is 10-20 ºС.
