According to the annotation to the drug, the use of Atma is contraindicated only in one case - if the patient has hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

The optimal time for taking Atma is 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal.
The duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician, taking into account the type of disease, the severity of its course and the effectiveness of the drug. As a rule, the treatment of acute bronchitis ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, chronic non-obstructive bronchitis - 1 month, chronic obstructive bronchitis and bronchial asthma - 3 months, smoker’s cough - 2-3 months.
The duration of the prophylactic course is 2-8 weeks. In the year of such courses can be carried out 2-3.
Numerous reviews of patients who took Atma or gave it to their children indicate that in the vast majority of cases this homeopathic medicine is well tolerated and does not have any side effects if the dosage regimen recommended by the doctor is observed.
In individual cases, in the presence of hypersensitivity or intolerance to one or another component of the drug, allergic reactions may develop, which requires discontinuation of treatment.
Sometimes the use of Atma is accompanied by increased salivation, which is not a reason for its abolition. If any other adverse reactions on the part of the body occur, it is recommended to immediately consult a doctor.
Cases of overdose by Atma have not yet been recorded in medical practice.
The preparation contains ethanol (about 0.4 g per ml), so it is not recommended to assign it to patients with alcohol dependence.
The composition of Atma includes only plant-based natural components, therefore, during storage, a slight clouding of the solution is possible, the weakening of its taste and smell. Such changes are considered the norm and do not affect either the quality or the effectiveness of the drug.
In the early days of treatment, there may be a slight increase in symptoms of the disease. Such an organism's response to a homeopathic remedy, as a rule, testifies to its effectiveness, in this case, the effectiveness of bronchial drainage and their purification from mucus. For this reason, a short-term exacerbation of the disease is not a reason to discontinue the drug.
Negative impact on the speed of psychomotor reactions, visual acuity and ability to concentrate Atma, according to reviews, does not have.
Special studies on the effects of the drug on the body of the future mother and the fetus have not been conducted, and therefore the use of Atma during pregnancy is possible only by prescription and strictly according to indications.
Clinically significant interactions of Atma with other pharmacological agents have not been established, so it can be combined with any drugs (but only after consulting with a doctor) and combined with various treatment methods.
Atma has neither structural analogs nor even those close in composition. In the case of individual tolerability of the components of this drug should consult a doctor - he will select the drug with a similar mechanism of action, but with other active substances.
