Side effects Akriderma SC
Undesirable reactions can develop both directly at the place of use of the drug (locally), and be systemic in connection with the systemic absorption of components. In the first case, a sensation of burning, itching, folliculitis, striae, acne, skin atrophy, hypertrichosis, and depigmentation may occur.
In extremely rare cases and only when applying ointment on large surfaces of the skin with the help of occlusive dressings, percutaneous absorption of the active substances is possible, which can lead to systemic side effects. With an overdose of GCS that has arisen in the manner described above, there are: growth retardation, Cushing syndrome, glycosuria, increased blood pressure, a benign increase in intracranial pressure that appears after the end of treatment, and reversible suppression of the ACTH system. In addition, in this case, there is a possibility of an overdose of salicylates, which manifests itself in the form of pallor, increased fatigue, drowsiness, hyperventilation, tachypnea, nausea, vomiting, confusion, hearing loss, etc.
The development of a secondary infection is a direct indication of the need for adequate antifungal and antibacterial therapy. However, their independent appointment can lead to negative consequences. Consultation with a doctor is required.
special instructions
Only external use of Akriderma SK is allowed. Avoid getting ointment on the skin near the eyes.
Prolonged use of the product on the face can lead to perioral dermatitis, rosacea, acne and skin atrophy.
