Atsipol is a medicine used for the prevention and treatment of diseases of the digestive system and metabolism.
Release form and composition
Atsipol is released in the form of capsules, which inside are filled with light-cream dry biomass, which has a fermented milk smell, in polymer banks of 20 pieces
One capsule contains 10 million CFUs of live acidophilic lactobacilli and 400 μg of kefir polysaccharide fungus.
The capsule shell consists of titanium dioxide, gelatin and iron oxide red.
Indications for use
In accordance with the instructions, Acipol is prescribed in combination with traditional medicine for the prevention and treatment of patients aged three months and adult diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, namely in the following cases:
- Long-term antibiotic therapy;
- Acute intestinal infections - rotavirus gastroenteritis, dysentery, salmonellosis, etc .;
- Chronic colitis, as well as enterocolitis of infectious and non-infectious origin.
The drug is prescribed for dysbacteriosis and lagging in weight resulting from active antibiotic treatment of purulent-septic diseases in infants, atopic dermatitis or other allergic manifestations, recurrent, prolonged or chronic respiratory pathologies.
Also Atsipol is used to increase the overall resistance of the body.
The use of Atsipol is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity of the patient to any components of the product.
Dosing and Administration
The medication in the form of capsules is taken orally, washed down with clean boiled water and not liquid. The daily dose and duration of therapy is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the age of the patient, the severity of dysbiosis, as well as the duration and severity of the disease.
Children between the ages of three months and 3 years of age take Acipol while eating food, at a dosage of 1-2 capsules twice or thrice a day. Immediately before use, the contents of the capsules are diluted in a glass with milk or boiled water.
Patients of the other age groups take one capsule of the agent three or four times a day, half an hour before meals.
