Release form and composition
Make tablets Acidin Pepsin 250 mg, containing:
- 200 mg of betaine hydrochloride;
- 50 mg pepsin.

Indications for use
According to the instructions, Acidin Pepsin is indicated for various conditions of the body, characterized by a decrease in the level of hydrochloric acid in the stomach:
- Hypocidal gastritis (a disease accompanied by a shortage of hydrochloric acid);
- Anacid gastritis (a disease characterized by the almost complete absence of hydrochloric acid in the stomach).
Reduced acidity - a state optimal for the accumulation of protein breakdown products, causes the risk of developing not only infectious, but also cancer. Therefore, the use of Acidin Pepsin is recommended for inflammatory processes of the stomach, accompanied by low acidity.
Also, the drug is effective for ahilia (a disease accompanied by the complete absence of enzymes and hydrochloric acid).
In general, Acidin Pepsin can be used for any digestive disorders associated with low acidity:
- Painful or difficult digestion;
- Heaviness in the stomach;
- Early saturation, etc.
According to the instructions, Acidin Pepsin is contraindicated in:
- Hypersensitivity to active or auxiliary components of the drug;
- A history of jaundice;
- Severe renal failure;
- Diseases caused by pathologically increased levels of acidity (gastric and duodenal ulcers, erosive gastroduodenitis).
Precautions should use Acidin Pepsin during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as there are no data on its use during these periods. Before the appointment should carefully weigh the "benefit-risk" for the mother and the fetus / child.
In chronic renal failure, treatment with Acidin Pepsin should be started with the minimum effective doses.
